Objectives of the SEAMS school : 

In this school, we intend to introduce the basis of the numerical analysis to study partial differential equations. One aim is to prepare students and staff members for concrete problems arising in mathematical modelling in engineering and biological processes, more particularly issues concerning image processing. Theoretical and numerical lectures will be given, including practical sessions of free scientific computing software using Python.

  • Computer implementation, Youcef Mammeri, University of Picardie, France (6 hours)
